Web Production

I have managed web projects as both a producer and project manager with Boston University, Weymouth Design, Cengage, and Pearson. This work has ranged from full websites, multimedia pages, simple access websites, digital library products, implementations of 3rd party packages, multi-media elements and much more. I have worked with small teams of designers, developers, and clients and also participated as a developer and designer in some cases as well.

  Cengage: MindTap Interactive Courses
  Managed digital production team for interactive products in the diciplines of Histroy, Philosophy, World Languages, Political Science, and Religion. MindTap is a personalized experience with assignments that allow measurement of skills and outcomes. I managed other prototype products and legacy productions for this team as well.
• 
  Weymouth Design: Boston Children's Museum Homepage Redesign
  Project Management, balancing desired features and work needed with budget.
  This was a redesign/relaunch project including connections to social media, email champaign, a calendar database, and partial integration of cloud based hosting.

  Weymouth Design: Bridgewater State University
  Project Management, intiated and completed a variety of microsites and landing pages for marketing special events and complex branded program level sites.
  Traffic Management, coordinated frequent main page content updates with direct marketing partners.

  Project management, coordinated teamwork, production & workflow for the final stages of a homepage rebranding.

  Managed production and coordinated vendors for a large number of this type of website.

  Pearson: Lehigh Carbon Community College Department Portal
  Managed production, coordinated vendors, & minor coding for a moderate number of this type of website.

  Pearson: Rider University Public Speaking Media Site
  A more media specialized project; managed production, coordinated media resources and vendors.

  Mini Website: Boston University
  This was a mini-website I was asked to do for BU. It is for one of the courses with media I produced which won an award. In addition to the basic website, I did some modification of the JWplayer skin, and also production of the video and media elements shown within video.

In media the single most important project part is communication. It is essential to establish what a client wants and why.
From that foundation everything else springs: the design brief, concept, communication objectives, schedule, quality, timeline, and budget.
I have produced and managed the production of thousands of videos, interactive elements, and web shorts, in addition to various outreach and promotional materials.

  Stock Footage Edit
  Happy 4th of July! Stock footage & music with quick titles in After Effects. I am able to quickly and efficiently source high quality production assets for any project.

  New Center NOW
  A pro bono piece for a local Boston charity. I developed a motion graphics concept from their existing logo and also performed editing and music sourcing.
• 
  Real Estate Tour
  Virtual tour of a home for sale. This video is part of an online listing for websites like Trulia or MLS.
• 
  BU Instructional Introduction
  Video introduction to a 10 part video series as part of an online music lesson. I worked with the content expert and instructional designer to ensure these videos include every topic covered. The series includes musical elements so the learner can hear and understand the written materials.

  BU Semester Greeting
  Video for social media welcoming prospective and current students. This video is part of an overall social media campaign. Part of my work is in ensuring the video materials closely align with the marketing and outreach objectives.

  College of Fine Arts Campus Retreat Promotion
  Interviews as part of a recruitment campaign for a program.
  I identified the opportunity to create these vidoes and worked with the program director, faculty, and student volunteers to capture the on ground experience.
  This helped enrollments for the program and paired with outreach efforts.

  CFA Retreat Promotion:Activity Focus
  Along with the previous interview video, activity highlights are part of the overall package too. It was very important to the client department that we show the activity so participants can connect it to their artistic study as well.

  Interview segments brought to life with titling effects.

  A short title produced in After Effects.

  Using After Effects I created a nice frame for amature video to be included in an global fundraising series.

Audio

I have produced a variety of audio, radio, and music. Selected samples are below. These use the JW longtail player and some features of the API to load new clips. I have worked extensively with the JW player versions 5 & 6.
